Your team and sign-off
Team members, permission sets, sign-off and one-click client votes.
Written By Julia M.
These pages cover your team: who is on it, what each person can do, what needs sign-off before it goes out, and how clients vote.
Watch it: the Settings lesson in Campus, step 4, “Your team and sign-off” (2:05). Each section below names its chapter.
Team members
Settings › Studio › Team and permissions › Team
Watch it: step 4, chapter 1, “Team members” (starts at 0:09).

Everyone in the studio, with their role, their permission set, and what they bill and cost per hour.
People join the team from Contacts, where their details live, so Add a team member in Contacts takes you there.
A rate change applies to time logged from then on. Past invoices never move.
Permission sets
Settings › Studio › Team and permissions › Permission sets
Watch it: step 4, chapter 2, “Permission sets” (starts at 0:32).

Permission sets decide what people can do. Pick a set on the left, then a module, and tick each thing they can do in it. Each action says what kind it is (View, Add, Change or Delete), and the less obvious ones have a line of help under them.
Quick set fills a module in one click: None, View only, Everything but delete, or Everything.
Hide from the menu takes a module out of their menu altogether.
Find a permission searches every module at once. Type sign off and you see everywhere someone can sign off.
Owner and Admin always have everything, including any module Workroom adds later. That cannot be changed.
Not sure where to start? The suggested sets, like Purchasing agent or Bookkeeper, add in one click, ready to adjust.
What needs sign-off
Settings › Studio › Sign-off and approvals
Watch it: step 4, chapter 3, “What needs sign-off” (starts at 1:14).

This is the one place you decide what needs an internal yes before it is sent or paid. Nothing sends or pays on its own.
Each row has who signs off and what locks afterward. Turn a row off and those documents go out without sign-off. Then decide whose work needs it, and whether admins, non-billable time or certain phases skip it.
One-click client votes
Settings › Studio › Sign-off and approvals
Watch it: step 4, chapter 4, “One-click client votes” (starts at 1:41).

One-click votes let clients answer straight from an email or the portal, without signing in: Love it, Maybe or Pass.
A vote is a preference, so you know where they are leaning. Approving still happens on the estimate.
