Customize your dashboard
Add widgets and small tiles, arrange them your way, and try a ready-made dashboard type.

Your dashboard is yours to arrange. Add what you need from Customize Dashboard, move and size it right on the page, or start from a ready-made layout.
Watch it: the Dashboard lesson in Campus: twelve chapters, about 6 minutes. Each section below names its chapter.
Add a widget
Watch it: chapter 4, “Add a widget” (starts at 1:25).

Click Customize Dashboard. Every widget you are allowed to see is listed on the left. Click one and it is drawn on the right, live, with your real numbers, so you know exactly what you are adding.
Pick its View and its Width, then Add to your dashboard. A check in the list marks anything already on your page. Dashboard widgets explains what each one shows.
Small tiles
Watch it: chapter 7, “Small tiles” (starts at 2:55).

Small tiles are quick numbers, half a column wide, each with a little chart. There are tiles for money, projects, tasks and time, orders, leads and messages.
In Customize Dashboard › Small tiles, click a tile to add it and click it again to take it off. On your dashboard, each tile opens the place its number comes from.
Arrange it your way
Watch it: chapter 9, “Arrange it your way” (starts at 3:48).

The menu on every widget sets its width and height, and moves it up, down, left or right.
Drag a widget by its handle, and drag its bottom edge to make it taller or shorter. Nothing else on the page changes size.
Duplicate adds a second copy in another view, so you can see Projects as a list and as tiles, or Money three ways at once.
The X takes a widget off. You can always add it back from Customize.
Dashboard types
Watch it: chapter 10, “Dashboard types” (starts at 4:16).

Dashboard types are ready-made layouts, in Customize Dashboard › Dashboard types. Customize suggests one for your role and one for where most of your projects are.
Essentials is the Walter brief, a row of your key numbers, then a tile for every project you are on. Use this swaps your layout, and Undo puts your old one back.
At the top of Customize you can choose the name your greeting uses. It changes the greeting and nothing else in Workroom.
