The Payments page

Every payment in and out in one place: from clients, and to vendors, contractors and your team.

Written By Julia M.

Overview

Finances › Payments shows every payment in and out: from clients, and to vendors, contractors and your team.

Watch it: the Finances lesson in Campus, step 4, “Invoice and get paid”, chapter 9, “The Payments page” (starts at 3:21).

What you see

  • Tiles for Money in, Money out, WorkPay fees and Not in the bank yet.

  • Views for All, Money in, Money out, Not in the bank yet and Deleted, with search. Search reads people, documents, methods, the last four digits, amounts and dates.

  • Each row shows the method, the amount, the WorkPay fee, what you net, its status and its batch.

A payment’s details

Click a payment for the method and last four digits, the WorkPay fee and who paid it, and where the money is right now, like the batch it was in and the deposit it landed in.

A payment’s side panel: what was charged, the fee, the batch and the deposit

Not in the bank yet

Anything clearing, held or returned has its own view, so nothing slips by.
