Would love to be able to do at least 5 project numbers instead of 4. Our system for everything else is the first three of the last name and the year.. ex . GRU26 which helps us when we have multiple names with similar beginnings
Hi Cathleen! We have to pass on this one for a few reasons, mainly that we just changed the project codes from an unlimited number field, to this 4-character and it is tied to too many modules (invoices, estimates, purchase orders, and retainers) that it would cause a huge issue for our code to do it to 5.
Might i suggest changing the naming sequence to client initials + year? Like Timothy Murenzi: TM26? Sorry for the unfavorable news, but it’s not easy to change that as seemingly easy as it may seem!
