Problem
Setting up unique team rates is a fully manual, one-person-at-a-time process, and it doesn't scale for projects with larger teams. On a project with multiple people, getting through Team and Billing means opening each person, finding their row, and setting up their rate structure individually. If two people should end up with the same setup (e.g., Andrea should match Indema Demo), there's no way to link them; it's the same manual process over again from scratch. The screen also feels cramped once a project has more than a few contributors.
Proposed solution
Bulk copy within a project - let a user select one or more team members and copy a rate setup from a source person to the selected ones in one action, similar to "copy to other days" in Calendly/Google Calendar availability. This solves the case where several people on the same project should share identical rates.
Copy rates across projects - in Team and Billing (or when creating a new project), add a "copy rates from [project]" option that pulls in another project's full rate structure and auto-populates it. This covers older projects that already share a rate setup, without routing them through the import feature.
More screen space - give Add/Edit Project Modal more room so rows aren’t scrolling so much - it is too much scrolling for teams of 3+
I think this would eliminate an in depth project import update!
